Air Charter International now offers you “SkySearch” a first of its kind in the charter industry. Our advanced systems are now directly available to you, the customer, giving you immediate access to over 5000 active aircraft around the world, up-to-date empty leg availabilities and the ability to book your charter online.
How it Works
Companies as well as individuals can sign up for free, allowing them to book their own charter through an easy step-by-step process. Simply add a charter enquiry and let the system guide you through the process – from obtaining budgetary prices and selecting your preferred aircraft to confirming your charter and completing your flight online. All you need to do is show up at your airport of departure!
Benefits
SkySearch members will save time and money by booking their charters online. In addition to this, you will have access to the latest empty leg availabilities, enjoy special promotions and discounts on your charter flight, and subscribe to our ACI.info newsletters and flyers. SkySearch also offers an attractive frequent flyer program and additional services for our Gold and Platinum members.
SkySearch allows you to enter your own contact details and the details of your charter requirements via a user-friendly interface. Once a charter requirement has been entered, it will be matched to our extensive aircraft database. You will immediately see on-screen the three best aircraft for your requirement and a budgetary estimate for your flight/s. Further aircraft options are also available.
Users can then select their preferred proposal and request a quotation. Air Charter International’s dedicated charter team will then obtain a competitive quotation. As the enquiry progresses, you will be able to use the SkySearch interface for transfer of the necessary documents. The SkySearch interface will allow you to manage your own enquiry in a streamlined method as your enquiry progresses.

Step 1: Add a New Charter Enquiry
Once you have registered with SkySearch, you will be able to create your own charter enquiries. From your home page, simply click on the heading ‘Add a New Charter Enquiry’. Then simply follow the instructions on each page to enter the details of your requirement. Once you have entered all the details of your charter requirement, you will be presented with a summary of your request. If you need to make changes, click on ‘Back’ and edit the details accordingly. Once you have completed this step, click on ‘Submit Enquiry’ to move on to the next step – Selecting Your Charter.
Note that once an enquiry has been submitted, you cannot make any changes. If necessary, you can archive the enquiry and create a new enquiry.
Step 2: Select a Charter
Once you have submitted your enquiry (Step 1), SkySearch will analyse your charter requirement and search the aircraft database to find suitable aircraft. The prices seen at this stage are budgetary prices only, based on current market rates. If you wish to receive a firm quotation for any of the aircraft options presented, click on ‘Select this Aircraft’ underneath your preferred aircraft.
You will be asked to confirm that you wish to receive a formal proposal; once you have clicked on ‘Send me a formal proposal’, a request will be automatically sent to the SkySearch team. You can expect a quotation within 24 hours.
Step 3: Accept Charter Proposal
Once your request for a formal proposal (quotation) has been processed, your proposal will be available both through the SkySearch interface and an email sent to you. To accept the proposal, log in to SkySearch and first view the proposal. At this point you can also add comments if you wish. Select the proposal which you want to accept, then click on the ‘Accept Charter Proposal’ button.
Step 4: Confirm Charter Flight
Once you have accepted the Charter Proposal, the SkySearch team will send you an email with a “Confirmation of Fixture” attached. This document is not a contract; however, by signing this document you agree to the general terms and conditions of your Charter Flight. In order to confirm your flight, the Confirmation of Fixture must be signed and sent back to the SkySearch team (either by scanning the signed document and uploading it to your Charter Enquiry; or by faxing it directly to ACI). Once your signed copy of the Confirmation of Fixture has been received, a member of the SkSearch team will be in contact with you in order to process your Charter Contract and payment. You can view the Confirmation of Fixtures from your home page – open the Charter Enquiry for which you whish to view the Confirmation of Fixture received and click on the “Step 4 Confirm Charter Flight” button. Click “View Confirmation of Fixtures”. You have the ability to view, add comments or upload a signed copy to any of the Confirmation of Fixtures listed.
Step 5: Show up and Fly
Once the Charter Contract has been signed off by both parties (i.e. the operator and you as the client) and payment has been made, your charter flight is ready for take-off. You will receive a Flight Briefing with all the details of your charter flight via email. You can also view the Flight Briefing from your home page on the SkySearch interface. We recommend you print this document as it contains important details regarding your charter flight schedule, time and airport of departure, passenger listing, special requests and any other relevant flight information. Open the Charter Flight for which you wish to view the Flight Briefing. Click “Step 5 Show up and fly” button. Click “View Flight Briefing”. Enjoy your flight!
If you wish to cancel an enquiry, click on the ‘Cancel Enquiry’ button at any time. Your cancelled enquiries are available for viewing via the ‘View Archived Enquiries’ button on the home page at any time. Note that enquiries cannot be deleted (only archived).
